The aft cabin with limited headroom has two separate bunks and a toilet.
The main cabin offers full headroom (1.95 m) with a well proportioned galley to port, next to the companionway. Opposite a chart table and navigation area the centreboard case carries a large foldable table. The L-shaped sofa converts into a doublebed and an extra single sleeping compartment can be made under the starboard cockpit seat with entrance from the navigation area.
As you move forward you enter a nice big toilet section with shower and roomy lockers for clothes etc. Further ahead you enter the spacious enclosable "skipper's" cabin with a doublebed and surrounding lockers. Plenty of storage under the bunks and a big drawer further down.
The cabinet woodwork is of satin gloss Mahogany. Individual choice of upholstery covers from our range of fabrics.
The electrical installations are 12V. Control panel with automatic fuses at the navigation area and separate main
switches to control the batteries l x 75 amph for engine and 3 x 75 amph for aux. 240V shorepower is optional.
The Dragonfly 1200 comes with a standard 40 hp diesel engine, but has room for up to 50 hp under the cockpit with a spacious and service-friendly installation. Tank capacity is 150 ltr.
The *airheating and hot water system are placed in the engine room, like the *watermaker. The fresh water tank is placed under the forward cabin floor and holds 150 ltr. Saltwater intake at the galley is standard.
Access from the centre cockpit to the deck and trampolines is safe and easy. All along the cabin top is a solid handrail and the foredeck is surrounded by a pulpit.
Aluminium mast is standard whereas the carbonfibre mast is optional. The mainsail is fitted with Frederiksen battencar system and tree reefs. The genoa and staysail are fitted on a roller furler reefing system. All halyards, reefing lines and control lines for "kick up" centreboard and rudder are led to the cockpit.
The wheelsteering is geared in such a way that you still have almost the same feeling as with tillersteering and to turn the wheel from one side to the other is only within two full turns. The propeller shaft runs through a skeg that gives good protection for the propeller so the boat can beach or even "dry out". Cruising speed under power is 9 knots.
All three hulls, decks, cabins and wings are of a high quality fibreglass sandwich construction and polyester resin. All the specialy designed hardware, such as swing wing hingers, mast and rigging fittings are made of acid proof stainless steel. All other hardware and fittings are of high quality from the same suppliers we have been using for years.
