Hanse World Dealer Meeting
The Hanse World Dealer Meeting 2006, held in Greifswald, Germany in August was another huge success with the launch of three eye-catching new models.
The new Hanse 470e offers a minimalist new interior. Her gorgeous lines when sailing or sitting at anchor will definitely turn heads. Two orders have already been taken at the Sydney Boat Show.

Hanse Yacht Open for Inspection Evening
The Hanse Yachts Open For Inspection Evening on the 21st December proved to be very successful. The stock Hanse 461#36 sold within minutes of the opening. The owner of a Hanse 411 traded up to this stunning new 461, which will head to Hamilton Island around March. |

New for 2006: Hanse 370e & 400e
The Hanse 400e replaces the 411, which only took off in Australia in the last 18 months.
The new 370e & 400e have been designed by Judel/Vrolijk and Co. Hanse has decided to offer the “epoxy hull” as an option since testing the Hanse 371 “Schueddelfrost” two years ago on the race track in Europe. |
NEW MODEL HANSE 315 |
New Hanse 315 for 2006
The Hanse 31-footer has not yet been a big seller in Australia, her main criticism being that she was hard to board from the stern and had an inadequate nav table. The V-berth was considered a bit to tight.
This has all changed, the new 315 now has an open transom giving more room behind the pedestal. A separate nav station and a Hanse designed V-berth have to be seen to be believed. A very clever use of space.
Only the next three boats leaving the factory in October will qualify for our Special Boatshow Price.

Since the Sydney Boat show we have realised how big the 45+ market really is.
The Hanse 461 won the 'Most Innovative Boat of the Year' award in Europe.
Although receiving only positive comments about our Hanse 531 during the boat show we have come to realise that our Sydney clients are having trouble finding berths capable of holding her impressive size.

The new Hanse 531 now has a long waiting list.
Windcraft has decided to change the options list, which had maybe too many extras included at the $959,000 price tag.
The Hanse 531 Australian spec will now not come standard with the opening garage or any sails.
Her new price is now $899,000.
Over 70 Hanse 531 have been sold worldwide.

Hanse takes on the world
Windcraft Australia started importing Hanse yachts in late 1999. Since then we have seen Michael Schmidt and his team take the company from 90 boats a year to 400+ boats per year. The factory is open 16 hours a day to keep up with the orders since the boats are totally hand-built apart from the CRC- wood cutting machine and the varnish machine.

At the annual 'European Yacht of the Year' Awards in Duesseldorf, Germany, the HANSE shipyard won the top accolade for its brand new model, the HANSE 461. The jury recognised the extraordinary overall concept of the yacht by bestowing the treasured Innovation Award for the most groundbreaking and exceptional yacht in the competition. |
