Peter Hrones
Fjord Sales, Marketing
Peter began marketing boats in 1985 on Pittwater, a beautiful waterway off Sydney's northern beaches. In 1994 he competed in the 50th Sydney to Hobart race aboard a new custom-built Ron Holland 44 racer/cruiser, an experience that made a huge impact.
He then headed offshore to travel extensively through Europe, delivering yachts from Portugal and Spain back to England for owners and chartering yachts in the Mediterranean. It was here that he caught the bug for a new class of sailing boat – quality engineered, luxury performance yachts that were just as comfortable sailing in closed waters or making challenging ocean crossings.
Peter returned to Australia keen to share his newfound enthusiasm, and set his sights on importing the German-designed and built Hanse Yachts. It was a move that paid off, and since October 1999 Windcraft Australia has imported more than 100 Hanse's into Australia and New Zealand. It is a milestone Peter is incredibly proud of, and he is dedicated to maintaining a relationship with all his clients far beyond the handover of their boat.
Almost a decade on Peter still enjoys his hands-on role at the helm of Windcraft Australia. He has a large input into all facets of the company's operations, from marketing and public relations to introducing new brands into the already impressive line-up.

Mary Bickley Hanse Sales 32' to 43'
Like all members of the Windcraft Australia team, Mary has an extensive sailing background and an enduring love of boating.
A few years ago she took to the east coast of Australia in her 37ft Northshore with her husband and two young daughters in tow, and they spent six months cruising up and down the coast.
When not out on the water (which is not as often as she would like), she fills the role of Hanse Sales Director. Mary focuses on sales of Hanse models between 32 and 43 feet, and is also actively involved in the marketing side of the company.
Mary is dedicated and professional with a great eye for attention to detail and a reputation for outstanding customer service. Having previously run her own business for many years, she knows the importance of maintaining the highest standards in all areas of public relations.
When she can escape the office, Mary can be found skippering a Hanse 370 or whatever she can get her hands on in the ladies' evening race on Tuesdays on Sydney's Pittwater.

Bob Vinks
Moody Yachts Sales Director and Yacht Brokerage Manager
Bob has an impressive 28 year history in the boating industry, with him beginning his career as a yachting journalist in 1980. Soon after, he moved to Europe, and skippered several charter vessels throughout the Mediterranean Sea. On his return, he realised his career ambition and moved directly into yachting sales where he gained invaluable and extensive sales and sailing experience on everything from lasers, cat a ma ra ns, trailer sailors, and cruising and racing yachts.
After establishing his own yacht brokerage business on Sydney Harbour in 1991, Bob purchased Northshore Yachts in 1995, and was integral in the manufacturing and sales of this Australian brand for the next 12 years. With his extensive sales, manufacturing, and sailing experience, Bob has an impressive "holistic" knowledge to the yachting industry. He understands and demonstrates all aspects of the dedication required for assisting new and existing clients to realise their boating dreams. Bob is also an active member of the local sailing community and can often be found racing and cruising with his family and friends on the waters of Pittwater from the Royal Motor Yacht Club and Middle Harbour Yacht Club.

Nick Jones After Sales & Brokerage
Nick has spent most of his working life in the marine industry, from shipwrights to yacht charter companies, skippering, and most recently with Windcraft Australia as After Sales and Brokerage Manager.
He has developed outstanding customer skills, and this has played a major role in his great success growing Windcraft's second hand brokerage. This business now enjoys an annual turnover of more than $5 million. This figure is growing rapidly as more owners recognise Nick's sales ability, and list their boats with him. When not showing prospective buyers the ropes, Nick is also a dedicated member of the Hanse After Sales Team, which assists all owners.

Allan Bridge After Sales, Hanse Downunder, Special Events, Quality
As a commercial skipper and successful business operator in his own right, Allan brings a wealth of industry knowledge and corporate experience to Windcraft. He is largely responsible for the operation of Hanse Downunder, and also plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of a range of quality and customer care initiatives that Windcraft now has in place.
Allan also oversees Windcraft's involvement in international boat shows, expos and other events.

Accounts, Administration
Jan, Cathy and Fiona are our directors of first impressions, and are instrumental in the smooth accounting, administration and day-to-day operation of Windcraft. This is no easy job, given the many divisions and complex nature of the business.
